Stumped on where to take your sweetie this summer? We're coming up on the first summer weekend of the year, so get some suggestions for hot dates that will delight his or her horoscope sign!
Aries (March 21 - April 19)
Take your Aries to an auto race this summer and watch them come alive. Competitive sports really ignite these fiery souls because they identify with whoever is in the lead. They also love to be looked up to, so be sure to ask for advice on where to place your bets.
Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
These sensual Bulls love food, so your local farmer's market is the perfect place for your summertime date. Reserve plenty of time for your outing, since your Taurus will want to taste, touch and smell every item in the stalls. Wear a silk shirt and they won't be able to keep their hands off of you, either!
Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
Geminis are easy to please, as long as there's plenty of variety on the agenda. Any playground or zoo is a good bet, or try an arcade. Then stop off for some junk food -- this is one of the few signs that are fine with it. Be prepared to stand by while your gabster takes frequent calls on his or her cell.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers love the comforts of home, so why not prepare dinner at your house? A barbecue on your patio would be a definite hit. Follow it up with watching a DVD where you can cuddle up, but don't get too aggressive on your first date. Cancers tend to be cautious and take a while to warm up.
Leo (July 23 - Aug. 22)
Take your Leo out to the theater. If it's under the stars, even better! Be sure to dress up for the event and heap compliments on your date for doing the same. Even if you have to fake it, Leos don't care ... they just love the attention. After the theater, stop in at a karaoke bar and watch your Leo captivate the audience.
Virgo (Aug. 23 - Sept. 22)
Virgos like almost anything, but you need to keep a few rules in mind. Make sure your choice of activity or location is tasteful. Virgos like calm, classy places and people. They also tend to be practical about their personal habits, like going to bed at a sensible hour if they have to get up early the next day.
Libra (Sept. 23 - Oct. 22)
Every city has arts and crafts fairs in the summer -- the perfect place to take your Libra art lover. They'll "ooh" and "aah" over all the wonderful creations (especially those with subtle, harmonious colors). Watch your fashion-savvy date make a beeline for the shiny objects!
Scorpio (Oct. 23 - Nov. 21)
Take your Scorpio antique store shopping. Be prepared to make several rounds of the shops because he or she will want to dig through every nook and cranny. Scorpios tend to like antiquities with deep, dark pasts (they often collect them), and can spend hours talking to a shop owner about each item's history.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 - Dec. 21)
Float down a river on an inner tube or raft and then enjoy a lavish picnic by the riverside. Other great outing ideas include the rodeo, sport fishing or a state fair. Just make sure the day is active and outdoorsy. Allow for some flexibility in the schedule, though, because your Sagittarius might show up a little late.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 - Jan. 19)
These classy souls want to see and be seen in the best places, so make reservations at your city's hippest restaurant, where all the glitterati hang out. Or take your date to your company picnic, where they can network. Be sure to dress nice -- they've got an eye for quality -- and be on time. Caps are very punctual.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 - Feb. 18)
Aquarians love knowing you share their ideals and will work alongside them. If your city offers a bike, run or walk for a cause, sign up together. Don't worry about your date being romantic. Aquarians often seem more like friends than lovers and they like it that way -- until they get into the bedroom, of course.
Pisces (Feb. 19 - March 20)
Take your Pisces to the beach. If there's no beach nearby, head for the city pool. Tell them how wonderful they look in their swimsuit -- these gentle Fish are suckers for compliments. By all means, avoid zoos where their compassionate nature will make them overly sensitive to the plight of the animals.
